Camps

Adventure Day Camp 2010 will be celebrating the cultures in our  Province which include Native, French and English. New to our itinerary will be the recognition of the importance of nutrition and healthy eating practices.  Science and Environment will be tied together to familiarize participants of the roles they play in keeping our environment clean.  Other activities throughout the week youth will be participating in are:  

The camp will help to create the foundation in which the participants will have an opportunity to learn leadership skills, increase self-esteem and make healthy choices based on their own needs.

The J. Reuben O’Hanley R.O.P.E.S. Course will provide youth with an opportunity to problem-solve and take risks in a fun and stimulating atmosphere.  They will be introduced to the proper use of climbing equipment, including helmets, harnesses, etc. by qualified instructors.  During this time youth will be invited to experience the low and high challenge course which consists of a series of cables, beams, and ropes.

The camp will be for youth ages 9 - 14.  The location is at 392 St. Peter's Road, at the Faith Bible Family Life Centre.  Registration will be $125 for the week.  This price will include nutritional snacks and lunches.
