Session Styles
Tool Kit Sessions
Use a hands-on, or experiential, workshop format to teach a specific process, help participants develp new skills, or gain other practical resources related to community and youth development.
Conceptual Learning Sessions
Present research papers, conceptual models, studies or evaluations, to strengthen the knowledge base and practice of people engage in community processes, organizations, systems, or strategies for community and social change.
Dialogue Sessions
Using facilitated dialogue, we will explore some of the current and on going issues in meaningful community and youth development. Please let us know your burning questions!
Community-building activity or special event
Large group learning events are as much about making personal connections as they are about sharing information and resources. Beginning and end-of-day relaxation, rejuvenation or recreation activities, performances, games and sessions that invite artistic and creative expression help build a sense of community and inspire creativity among participants.
