Welcome to the Adventure Group!

The Adventure Group was conceived in 1990 and incorporated in 1992. It is the mandate of the organization to work with young people and to explore the gifts each young person brings to the community in which they live.

We recognize that it is important to work not only with young people, but also with their parents so that the problem solving and other skills that are developed are modeled and encouraged in the home and community.

We are fortunate to have created many wonderful partnerships and relationships with organizations, departments and agencies within our community.

We are often called on in our community to address needs as identified by government departments, agencies and community members.

Burma Bridge– A Special Song

Jill Chandler’s experience with climbing the Burma Bridge during a “Living My Potential” Workshop, inspired her to write a song about strength in vulnerability, taking risks and a willingness for change.
