Denise Cheverie: Staff
For the past decade I have worked at The Adventure Group, supporting youth and their families to gain the skills needed to move forward and make healthy, positive life changes in order to break the cycles of generational traumas. I have facilitated workshops with those in the corporate world, high school students, sports teams and entrepreneurs guiding them to identify and recognize their strengths and challenges through experiential learning.
My roles have varied from my early beginnings, starting as a summer Camp Coordinator, ROPES Course Facilitator, Life Skills Program Facilitator / Coordinator and currently is in the role of Outreach Worker and providing EFT sessions to clients.

Since being introduced to this life changing technique in 2010, I had a vision to have my own practice one day so that I could share this powerful self-help tool with others. With my lived experiences, and my ability to connect with people, it made this a very natural evolution.

While helping others heal and unlock their potential at my day job, I practiced self exploration and excavating to heal the parts of myself that were stuck and wounded from past experiences.

I accredit EFT as the positive turning point in her emotional healing and well being. My vision of becoming an Accredited Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner and having my own practice has come to fruition with dedication, self-love, patience, perseverance and hard work.
